Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center

Everything was great minus the hot tub being filled with concrete. Free breakfast is awesome with daily varieties! Beds are super nice with great pillows too! Evening staff was always super nice friendly and helpful. Great front desk staff. Sauna was a huge bonus and worked great!

I stay at portage Wisconsin with my mom and will never stay again. The maintenence is very rude disrespectful . Glenda the break fast person asked to not to come over there were guest still the breakfast area he was very rude told her to shut up not to tell him what to do he does want he wants .. The desk clerk eating at front desk after coming over to breakfast also as people were still eating and guest still coming in to breakfast to eat . Glenda is a very nice and very respectful and very helpful full and help my mom with coffee machine . He seam all the maintenence man does is eat walk the hall ways ..The clerk behind desk also on her personal phone .. very disrespectful also

Stayed here as part of a 2-night work site visit. Initial greet was warm by the general manager. We were greeted well, and given our keys up to our rooms. The GM also explain out the hours and amenities available to us during our stay. The breakfast offered was warm, and offered a good selection each morning between eggs (consistent), sausages, cereal, bagels and pastries, and other food items. The plastic wrapping around the nozzle for the milk dispenser made me unsure if it was working or not, but I felt happy with what was offered. My room itself was fairly clean. I had booked a 2-Queen, and found the sheets clearly made and everything in good condition. Only things I noticed were in the bathroom - where the handicap handle from the tub was missing, and parts of the ceiling were flaking off (water damage possibly?). But otherwise, happy with the room condition, and had food options available nearby in Portage.

Location wasn't ideal for me specifically but the rooms were nice. I slept well. Fancy coffee machine in lobby. Nice breakfast. TV was large with a lot of channels. Room was somewhat dark. Would stay again if in Portage

The only complaint I had is there is only one elevator and we were on the complete opposite side of the hotels. As smokers, no balcony and having to take the emergency exit stairs kind of sucked. But that's our own fault. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay. Getting on and off the interstate to go a few places was a bit of a chore being that it's back off a frontage road.

Every year, the church congregation I'm associated with gathers here to celibate the Feast of Tabernacles. They always go above and beyond to ensure our stay is delightful. I love that they have a gym and a sauna. Staff is always awesome. Love the rooms. 10 outa 10 would recommend

The location was great. There is a good steakhouse just across the hotel "Suzy's" and there is walmart, dollar general, Mcdonald's, burger king and a sushi restaurant within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The staff was friendly to foreigners like myself. The staff offered the number of Portage cab service in case of my Uber app not working. Breakfast was great and got good pancake. The hotel charges a fairly reasonable price. One thing I do not like is if I am not mistaken there was no shower curtain in my room. So I got the floor all wet. I asked for a solution and the staff did give me more towels so problem did solve.

This hotel was better than I expected. Warm pool, clean room, everything worked, hot water - plenty for showering and kids baths, friendly staff, close to lots of places. There is a steakhouse across the parking lot with great drinks that we could bring to our room for convenience. Our kids loved the pool. No complaints. Very affordable pricing and I feel like it was worth it. Walmart is near by as well. We booked this place to go snowboarding at cascade Mountain, great trip overall. Would stay here again! They also offer veterans discounts.
